How It Works

 

1. Sunlight enters the evacuated glass tubes.

2. The inner coating absorbs heat and transfers it to the water inside the tubes.

3. Heated water rises naturally into the storage tank (thermosiphon principle).

4. Cold water flows down into the tubes to be heated again.

5. This cycle continues, keeping hot water available in the tank.

It delivers consistent hot water using solar energy, with minimal electricity consumption, and built to handle local climate conditions including hard water and intermittent cloudy skies.

Flat Plate Collector (FPC) solar water heaters use a flat, insulated box containing absorber plates beneath a transparent cover. Sunlight passes through the cover, heats the absorber, which in turn heats water flowing through tubes in thermal contact with the plates. They tend to be simpler and lower in cost compared to evacuated tube collectors, especially good in sunny climates.
